If it is a Thursday evening in the later part of spring or summer, and you’re spending a few wind-down hours at the Original Farmers Market, chances are good that you’ll find people swaying, twirling, tapping a toe, and savoring the sounds of a live band or music artist.
While the warm-weather Summer Music Series shows haven’t been around since the landmark public market was founded in 1934, the vibrant thrum of horns, guitars, and drums have been adding a summer-style soundtrack to the destination for several upbeat years.
