Deputies in Apple Valley are investigating after mysterious skeletal remains were discovered in the backyard of a home by homeowners who had just purchased the property.
A woman who claims to be the new owner of the house on Crest Drive told KTLA that her 19-year-old son spotted the remains this past weekend, after an inspection and appraisal had already been completed.
Longtime neighbors Edward and Pamela Sanchez said, “It’s kind of scary. We’ve never had any problems.”
