Fontana Days Parade fills the streets of the city

The Exchange Club of Fontana hosted their annual Fontana Days Parade on Saturday, May 2, drawing community members, local organizations and veterans to a morning celebration centered on patriotism and civic pride.

Cosponsored by the city of Fontana, this year’s parade carried the theme “Home of the Free…Because of the Brave: America 250,” highlighting the nation’s upcoming 250th anniversary while honoring the service and sacrifice of military veterans.

Festivities began at 9:30 a.m. with a pre-show ceremony at the intersection of Sierra Avenue and Arrow Boulevard, where veterans were recognized ahead of the parade. The parade officially began at 10 a.m. and concluded around 11 a.m., following a route that traveled south on Sierra Avenue, east on Orange Way, north on Mango Avenue, and west on Arrow Boulevard before ending near Miller Park…
