SALEM, Va. (WDBJ) – The Salem RidgeYaks (21-25) used timely pitching and a go-ahead blast from Stanley Tucker to defeat the Hickory Crawdads (25-19), 3-1, in a rain-shortened six-inning contest on Tuesday night at Carilion Clinic Field.
After a 40-minute weather delay, the game was called with two outs in the top of the sixth inning and a runner on second base for Hickory second baseman Luis Marquez.
