FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — Some elementary school students in Franklin County could soon be sharing bus rides with high schoolers as district leaders work to cut costs tied to shrinking enrollment.
A letter sent to parents on Tuesday from Franklin County Public Schools Superintendent Kevin Siers outlined plans to combine or redesign five elementary school bus routes ahead of the upcoming school year.
