ROANOKE COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — One person was taken to the hospital following a house fire on Saturday in Roanoke County that left two people and their pets displaced, according to firefighters.
At 9:15 p.m., Roanoke County Fire and Rescue responded to the 5000 block of Sunny Side Drive in the Cave Spring area for reports of a house fire.
When crews arrived, they reported finding smoke showing from the structure and upgraded the incident to a working fire. Fire officials said crews were able to control the fire in about 10 minutes.
