ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A Roanoke native who founded the Common Black College Application was laid to rest Saturday. Robert Mason, Jr. created the portal, which lets students apply to more than 50 historically Black colleges and universities with one application.
Friends and family shared his legacy during a service at Pilgrim Baptist Church.
