K-9 Vito, a law enforcement dog with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, has received an extra layer of protection thanks to a generous donation.
Vested Interest in K9s Inc., a charitable organization, donated a bullet- and stab-protective vest for Vito. The vest was sponsored by JoAnne Nikitas of Las Vegas and is embroidered with the words, “In Memory of Marlowe Mae Nikitas.”
