ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A new traffic light and off-ramp are expected to go live next week in Roanoke, according to the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT).
Motorists will begin using the newly built ramp and traffic light, which will be switched on at the northbound I-581 off-ramp at exit 2N (Peters Creek Road) in the overnight hours between Thursday, Sept. 24, and Friday, Sept. 25, the department said.
“This project re-aligns and signalizes the exit 2N off-ramp from northbound I-581 to northbound Peters Creek Road, eliminating the current merge ramp and making it easier for drivers to access ValleyPointe Parkway,” VDOT said…
