Roanoke woman arraigned on COVID-19-era program fraud charges

ROANOKE, Va. (WDBJ) – A Roanoke woman was arraigned Wednesday on fraud charges, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Western District of Virginia announced.

Prosecutors said Jazmin Jennings, 38, was indicted Sept. 3 on six charges of filing false tax returns and fraudulently obtaining the money from two separate COVID-19-era government programs.
