MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Va. (WFXR) – April was Child Abuse Awareness Month, marked by the color blue and pinwheels in the grass to represent the bright future all children deserve.
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) completed the development of its trauma-informed interview room. This is a space made for children and vulnerable victims in honor of the month of observance.
This space is designed to provide a safe, calm and supportive environment for some of the most impressionable victims.
