(WSET) — The Roanoke County Fire & Rescue Department said two people are now displaced after a house fire on Sunday.
At 6:25 p,m., shortly after responding to another structure fire in the Glenvar area, Roanoke County Fire and Rescue responded to the 5700 block of Deputy Drive in the Hollins area for multiple reports of a residential structure fire, officials said.
According to officials, first responding units from Company 5 (Hollins) reported a plume of black smoke in the air prior to arrival and marked it as a working fire at 6:29 p.m. Upon arrival, the house was discovered to be fully engulfed in flames. Crews worked to put out the blaze and brought it under control in an estimated 30 minutes.
There were no reported injuries; however, two residents will be displaced and are receiving aid from the American Red Cross, officials said…
