Syracuse man sentenced 40 years to life in prison for killing 11-year-old son and Rochester woman

SYRACUSE, N.Y. — A Syracuse man has been sentenced to prison for killing his son and a Rochester woman.

On Friday, David Huff was sentenced to 40 years to life in prison for the death of 11-year-old Jeremiah Huff and 32-year-old Yeraldith Tschudy, News10NBC’s Syracuse affiliate reports.

Huff was charged with two counts of murder for each of their deaths. He pleaded guilty to his charges in an Onondaga County courtroom on April 28. He admitted to shooting Jeremiah and Tschudy with a shotgun in March 2025…
