Three Indicted for 1st Degree Murder in June 2025 Shooting in Elmira

ELMIRA, N.Y. — A Chemung County grand jury has indicted three Monroe County men in connection with a fatal shooting last June near Pulaski Park in Elmira.

Marcus Johnson and Craig Murphy-Hampton, both of Rochester, and Ahmad Anderson of Greece, N.Y., have each been indicted on charges of first-degree murder, as well as 1st degree attempted assault and weapons possession charges stemming from the June 9, 2025 shooting.
