ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – Rochester’s Juneteenth Festival will be held Saturday at Martin Luther King Jr. Park to commemorate the emancipation of enslaved African Americans.
A parade will kick off the festival starting on Main Street between State Street and Plymouth Avenue at 11 a.m. The festival will include local food and vendors, face painting, haircuts, rock climbing, live music, and more from noon until 8 p.m.
The Juneteenth Festival brings together thousands of community members for celebration, unity, and education while highlighting the ongoing journey toward justice and equality.
