Rochester police raise concerns over repeat offenders after violent cases involving supervised release

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester police are again raising concerns about repeat offenders after several recent violent cases involved suspects who were already under some form of supervised release.

The issue has become a repeated frustration for the Rochester Police Department: how can the system better prevent people accused or convicted of prior crimes from committing new — and in some cases, more violent — offenses?
