ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man pleaded guilty Monday to manslaughter and a weapons charge in connection with the 2023 shooting death of 38-year-old Dwayne Hall Jr.
Stephan Jefferson, 23, pleaded guilty to first-degree manslaughter and second-degree criminal possession of a weapon, according to the Monroe County District Attorney’s Office.

Rochester police responded around 3:45 p.m. July 12, 2023, to a report of a person shot on Genesee Street. Officers found Hall with a gunshot wound to his chest and attempted lifesaving measures.
