ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) – The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has officially issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for the Rochester area Wednesday, as wildfire smoke from Canada shifts southeast and approaches the region.
Health experts locally and statewide are warning residents that the air quality as a result of the smoke could be dangerous to some, especially those with pre-existing health conditions.
