Legionella bacteria found in parts of St. Mary’s water system

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Legionella bacteria have been identified in parts of the water system at St. Mary’s Campus.

Rochester Regional Health confirmed that elevated levels of the bacteria were identified through the routine water safety monitoring program. They are working with the NYS Department of Health to implement precautionary measures and to monitor the situation.
