Bands on the Bricks (Friday)

The Bands on the Bricks concert series at the Rochester Public Market continues on Friday with a performance from Appetite for Voltage, a tribute band to AC/DC and Guns N’ Roses.

The free concert series at the market has been running for over 25 years. It runs from 6 to 9 p.m. The band What’s the Rush will open the show. Here’s the schedule for the rest of the series:

  • Wednesday, Aug. 12: Into the Now (Music from the Grateful Dead, The Stones, The Doors, and more)
  • Friday, Aug 14: Giant Panda Guerilla Dub Squad (World beats and reggae rhythms) with special guests iGNiTE Reggae Band

Nitro Circus at ESL Ballpark (Friday)

Extreme sport athletes are coming to ESL Ballpark to showcase their skills. The Nitro Circus stunt show tour stops by in Rochester on Friday. There will be freestyle motocross, BMX, skate, scooter, and more.

On the tour, Adam Jones will attempt a record-breaking 75-foot back flip through a 35-foot wall of fire. Australia’s Ryan “R Willy Williams,” who has over 900 million views on YouTube and has more than 100 world-firsts across BMX and scooter, will also perform stunts…
