Rochester man sentenced to 19 years for attempted murder

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A Rochester man who admitted to shooting a woman multiple times inside a Willow Street home last year was sentenced Friday morning.

Robert Johnson was sentenced by Judge Julie Hahn to 19 years plus five years of post-release supervision for his guilty plea to second-degree attempted murder.

The shooting happened on the morning of May 25, 2025. Police said officers and EMS crews were called to a home on Willow Street around 9:40 a.m. and found a 32-year-old woman who had been shot several times.
