Rochester, N.Y. — A man who pleaded guilty in connection with a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian in last year received his sentence Friday.
Authorities said Leonel Yas-Pena was driving on South Union Street near Buena Place in Rochester around 2:15 a.m. June 14, 2025 when he struck and killed Henry Brown, 70, with his vehicle before driving away.
