Project granted additional $1M to convert Hotel Cadillac into lofts

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — The Hotel Cadillac in Downtown Rochester will be getting fully converted as an additional $1 million grant was awarded as part of the state’s county infrastructure grant program.

The project will convert the former Hotel Cadillac on the corner of Elm and Chestnut Streets into 42 mixed-income housing units to be called the ‘Fine Arts Building Lofts’.

The redevelopment project was already given $6.2 million by the state in 2025.
