Rochester, N.Y. (WHAM) — Deputy Superintendent Dr. Casandra Wright of the Rochester City School District said the countdown to Sept. 8 — the first day of school for RCSD — has the same feeling as anticipating New Year’s Day.
“We’re eager to see the children and the teachers come back,” she said. “Teachers have been in their classrooms preparing for their babies to return, so everyone is excited.”
