ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A woman is in the hospital after getting struck by a vehicle on Lyell Avenue Sunday night.
Around 11:24 p.m., officers responded to reports of a pedestrian who was struck. They arrived and found a 31-year-old woman with injuries. She was taken to a nearby hospital and is expected to survive.
According to investigators, a sedan-type vehicle was heading west on Lyell Ave. when it struck the victim near Myrtle Street. The victim, police say, was in the street at the time of the collision. The driver did not stay at the scene…
