I-590 bridge project hits major milestone in Brighton

BRIGHTON, N.Y. (WROC) — The massive bridge replacement project along Interstate 590 in Brighton reached a major milestone Tuesday night as crews installed the first girder for the new northbound bridge.

The project is about five months into construction, and engineers with the New York State Department of Transportation say motorists could soon see a major change in their commute.
