ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Waterview Heights Rehabilitation and Nursing Center has less than one week to find new homes for its remaining 70-plus residents.
Out of the more than 160 residents, almost 45% still don’t have a place to live. Many say they’re being told the remaining residents will be moved an hour or more away.
That’s the case for one 85-year-old wife of a resident to whom she’s been married for more than five decades. Her story is not unique…
