An investigation is underway after a woman was found dead inside a Rochester home on Saturday.
Rochester police said at approximately 1 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a report of a deceased individual at an apartment on Sixth Street. Upon arrival, they discovered 63-year-old Myrtle Watson dead from trauma to her upper body. Investigators believe she had been dead for several hours before they arrived.
The Major Crimes Homicide Section is leading the investigation. There are no suspects in custody at this time, police said.
Anyone with information or video footage is being asked to call 911.
