RV camper catches fire on Otis Street in Rochester, responding RFD truck gets involved in crash

ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — A nearby home was damaged when an RV camper caught fire in Rochester Thursday.

The fire started around 2:30 p.m. in an RV camper on Otis Street. Firefighters said the fire put a nearby home at risk. The outside of that neighboring home was damaged by the heat, but the fire did not spread to the building.

The fire took about 20 minutes to put out, according to the Rochester Fire Department.

According to officials, Rescue 11 was on its way to the fire when it got involved in a crash in the area of Andrews Street and North Clinton Avenue in Rochester. No one was injured.
