ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WROC) — Rochester Mayor Malik Evans said the city is “resilient, robust and ready” during his State of the City address Wednesday, pointing to declines in gun violence, housing development and youth programs as signs of progress early in his second term.
Speaking at Innovation Square, Evans focused heavily on partnerships formed during and after the COVID-19 pandemic, saying collaboration between the city, community organizations and businesses has helped Rochester recover.
