ROCHESTER, N.Y. — About 150 people rallied for the release of Dolores Bustamante, a Wayne County woman detained by ICE during an immigration check-in.
News10NBC’s Declan Stablow was at the rally at the First Unitarian Church of Rochester and heard from Bustamante. Bustamante’s family called her on the phone to speak to the crowd.
She said she was doing OK and was thankful for the support.
Friends and coworkers sent a message to Bustamante, saying they miss her. They said her cat still looks for her in the morning…
