Perinton, N.Y. — A man faces charges after he kicked a cat, causing injuries that led to its death, according to Lollypop Farm.
Humane investigators responded Feb. 25 to Rochester Emergency Veterinary Services in East Rochester “after receiving a report that a cat had been admitted with severe injuries consistent with having been kicked.”
Lollypop Farm said Harold Larson of Rochester admitted to kicking the cat while wearing work boots after it scratched his hand. He later sought care when the cat showed signs of distress. The injuries “obstructed the animal’s breathing and resulted in its death.”…
