ROCHESTER, N.Y. — A man is facing charges after Rochester Police say he caused a chain reaction crash on the city’s northwest side, hitting a parked police cruiser, which then hit an officer standing outside.
It happened just after 12:30 a.m. on Friday near the corner of Dewey and Glenwood avenues. RPD says the police cruiser was parked there because it broke down and needed to be towed.
