Rochester, N.Y. — Eight students in Nazareth University’s LifePrep@Naz program participated in a Completion ceremony on Thursday.
The inclusive, college-based experience provides students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, a curriculum that focuses on life skills, self-sufficiency and independence.
“I learned how to cook on my own, so if I do move into my own place, I know how to cook, clean, do daily living chores,” said Georgana Morsch. “Coming here every day, it put a smile on my face every day when I come see them in the morning.”…
