FREEPORT, Ill. (WTVO) — Aquin Catholic Academy in Freeport will hold its final day of classes on May 29, 2026, the Diocese of Rockford announced Friday.
The decision follows months of review by a special task force and comes after years of declining enrollment and financial challenges at the school.
