WINNEBAGO COUNTY, Ill. (WIFR) – Winnebago County board members approved funding Thursday night for the next phase of the Perryville Path extension, moving the long-running bike and pedestrian path further north.
The path currently stretches nearly 15 miles from Rockford to Machesney Park.
“It just improves the quality of life for the community,” said Carlos Molina, Winnebago County Engineer.
