ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – Residents of Rockford’s 11th Ward attended a public meeting Tuesday to discuss a proposed road conversion project that would transform 6th and 9th streets into two-way streets.
Rockford Public Works is leading the project, which was approved in August of last year. The street conversions are part of a larger effort to update the Whitman interchange.
