VFW Post 11019 in South Beloit hosted a successful Veterans Information Session, bringing together veterans, families, service organizations, and community partners for an evening focused on education, assistance, and connection.
The event provided veterans and their families with direct access to organizations that serve those who have worn the uniform. Presenters included the VFW Foundation, Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs, Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, the Veterans Assistance Commission, and the Veteran Leadership Team. Each organization shared information about available benefits, programs, and services designed to support veterans and their families.
Following the presentations, veterans had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with Veterans Service Officers and representatives from participating organizations. Attendees were able to ask individual questions, receive guidance, and begin conversations about benefits, claims, and other veteran-related services.
