BELOIT, Wis.— A proposal to consolidate Beloit fire and emergency medical services will be presented next week to the Town of Beloit Board of Supervisors and the Beloit City Council.
Administrators from both communities will present to the Board of Supervisors on July 6, and the Beloit City Council on July 7. Each governing body will be asked to approve an intergovernmental agreement to move forward with consolidation.
The Town of Beloit and City of Beloit began exploring consolidation of fire and emergency medical services in February 2026 under an Intergovernmental Agreement adopted by the town board and city council.
