BELVIDERE — A gourmet coffee shop centered on Yemeni flavors is preparing to bring its drinks, crepes and other specialties to Belvidere.
Almoká Coffee House, which opened in February 2025 as Rockford’s first Yemeni coffee shop, is preparing to launch a mobile version of its brand. Owner Hussain Abdulhafedh, a Belvidere resident with Yemeni heritage, has converted a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2500 into the first Almoká coffee truck.
