If you drive from Rockford to O’Hare very often, there’s one toll plaza that probably makes you sigh every single time.

Then there are some of the archaic toll booths that still exist, including one of the most annoying in the entire state.
It’s the toll plaza at the O’Hare Interchange, southbound I-294 to westbound I-190 and eastbound I-90 to westbound I-190. Just beyond that are a bunch of cars hogging the shoulder to pick up people flying into O’Hare. On top of that toll, it can get really dodgy really quickly at that booth.
