ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – What a difference between today and yesterday. We had bright sunshine with record breaking warmth yesterday, but clouds have dominated our sky and a cold front has cooled our temperatures. We are still well above the average high today as we will be in the lower 40s, but the clouds and winds make it feel a little cooler. There is a slight chance we can see some sunshine this afternoon, but models have been in massive disagreements with the clouds we currently have. Some models suggest we should be bright and sunny this afternoon, while others are giving us overcast skies. I’d give the sun a 40% chance of appearing before sunset as the clouds are quite thin.
