Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary announces fabric and craft sale

JANESVILLE — The Salvation Army, 514 Sutherland Avenue, in Janesville, is having its 30th annual women’s auxiliary fabric and craft sale.

It runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 11, through Friday, Sept. 13, and on Saturday, Sept. 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The proceeds go to support both the Janesville and Beloit Rock County Corps for food, housing, social services and ministry programs for adults and youth.

There will be large tables of fabric, finished and unfinished quilt tops, fat quarters, jelly rolls and quilting kits. There will also be notions, yarn, scrapbook and stamping items, craft items, holiday decoration and home decor.

No credit cards, only cash or check. Everything is half odd on Saturday.

Due to limited space, they would appreciate it if shoppers could avoid bringing baby strollers while shopping.
