BELOIT, Wis. (WIFR) – The Beloit Fire Department Headquarters receives a much needed update to serve the Rock County community. On Friday, dozens of community members joined retired and active-duty firefighters at the Beloit Fire Department to observe a Wet Down, Push Back ceremony. Since 2016, the Beloit Fire Department has honored the past through the historic tradition of “blessing” new vehicles and pushing them back into the station.
