ROSCOE, Ill. (WIFR) – Roscoe residents flock to a corn roast cookout that supports local students and veterans with its funds. On Saturday, VFW Post 2955 board president, Jean Mund said the event distributed 50 dozen ears of sweet corn for residents to eat and order. Event guests could snag a fresh cookout meal sourced from area farmers and enter raffles.
