Officer Daniel Daly, who served over 20 years in Beloit and Rockton, to be honored in D.C.

BELOIT, Wis. (WMTV) – Beloit Police Officer Daniel Daly, who dedicated more than two decades of service to both the Beloit and Rockton, Illinois, Police Departments, will soon be honored at the National Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, D.C.

The honor comes nearly four years after Daly passed away in 2021, following a battle with COVID-19.

Daly served 26 years with the Rockton Police Department and nearly 24 years with the Beloit Police Department. His wife, Bridgett Daly, recalls his commitment to his work, saying, “He loved what he did. He loved having hands-on involvement with training. He loved working with the kids… he loved his job.”…
