Rockford man sentenced to probation for gun and cannabis offenses

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — A man arrested in January as part of a weapons investigation by Rockford Police’s Gang and Narcotics Units has pleaded guilty to weapon possession and selling drugs. He was released second-chance probation.

Tszarian Wright, 21, pleaded guilty in Winnebago County Court to the charges of aggravated unlawful possession of a weapon and manufacturing or delivery of between 30 and 500 grams of cannabis.

He, along with Deterrace Dotson, was arrested on January 30 as part of a raid of a home in the 1200 block of Widergen Drive. Police said weapons were found in during the search…
