ROCKFORD, Ill. (WIFR) – The Baby Bank marks a major milestone, handing out its one millionth diaper to local families in need.
Lawmakers and city leaders marked the occasion Monday at Brooke Road United Methodist Church, which is one of the organization’s locations.
Since 2018, the Belvidere-based nonprofit supports hundreds of northern Illinois families each month by giving away diapers and other baby hygiene supplies.
