TJ Maxx faces potential lawsuit after hidden camera found in women’s changing room

ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Several individuals and families in the Machesney Park area have retained attorneys for a potential class action lawsuit against retailer TJ Maxx after a hidden camera was found in the women’s changing room.

Jeffrey Wallin, 37, was charged with unauthorized video recording and live video transmission, unlawful video of a residence, and obstruction of justice, after deputies with the Winnebago County Sheriff’s Office discovered a small camera in the ceiling tiles of one of the dressing rooms of the store, located at 1009 West Lane Rd.
