ROCKFORD — Christy Stewart took her first job as a bartender for the same reason she has now bought her first bar: She was looking out for her family.
Stewart, who earlier this year purchased Mulligans Pub & Grill at 2212 N. Main St. on the city’s North End, said she started bartending as a single mother looking to provide for her first son. Years later, the mother of three — now ages 20, 18 and 14 — has new goals…
